Anticipation of a Project

Dan here, I'm currently studying a two - year degree in Action Photography at Truro College.
I have recently been set a project, which will run for the next four months, the project itself will be conducted at a specidic site in Cornwall.

The given site is that of Gwithian Sands, located on the West Coast of Cornwall.

I have set this blog up as a recognisable source of information to show the developments and the happenings on the Gwithian Site.
I will use the blog to continually upload new photos and information on the site to on a weekly basis. It is important to note that the project is long term and one that I hope to document the many changes that happen here over the next four months.

At the moment, Gwithian is in a relaxed, dormant period, with little life around. However upon my first impressions, it is clear to see that many of the current life-forms are coming to the end of their life cycle, with new life form's only just beginnings there's.

For example, the dying out of bull rushes and the arrival of frog spawn in the nature reserve, this to me signals the interchange of the seasons. To the point the later stagesd of Winter to the early stages of Spring.

The site therefore should become more and more active as we cycle through Spring and arrive to the height of summer, where in theory the site should peak and climax in terms of activity, then subsiding into the dormment and relaxed space we are currently witnessing.
